Trails will be re-grooomed Monday morning

We had a lot of activity on the trails today, despite the softer conditions given all the recent snowfall! Conditions should firm up quite a bit for tomorrow after we do a partial regroom Monday.

Additionally, my apologies (and thanks for your patience and understanding) for those of you who were unable to book one of the limited online rental reservation slots and took your chances with a walk-in rental. As most of you know, our trail grooming and rental shop is run completely by volunteers, and the majority of our volunteer staff was unavailable this weekend, leaving only three of us to do the many hours worth of grooming (both yesterday and today) to get the trails re-opened, and then go from that to staffing the rental shop. Luckily we didn't have to turn anyone away, although the majority of our rental fleet was out on the trails seeing some action! Our board of directors is continuing to work on ways to improve our rental process, but keep in mind that there are other locations (such as Mountain Chalet in COS) that also have rental gear, and has a paid staff that will be available for you when our nonprofit volunteer staff might not be...

Thanks to everyone who came out today to enjoy all the fresh snow--hopefully the weather will keep it around long enough for the next storm expected later this week. Think snow!
