Although the snow is slowly melting on the Woodmoor golf course, most of the course is still blanketed with last week's storm, and honestly, we could have kept our early season loop open for several more days if it wasn't for the fact that the Club's golf maintenance personnel need to finish prepping all the fairways (removing cart path and golf signs from the course) so that we can have full access to the golf course as we typically do each winter.
Personally, I think many sections of the golf course won't completely melt out before the next storm arrives, and instead will provide a great trail base for the rest of the season. Hopefully we'll have our longest local season to date, although one never knows with front range weather... think snow!
