Hopefully a snow-refresh this weekend

We have a chance for another 1-4+ inches of snow this weekend, which we'll need to improve the trails and hopefully set classic tracks. While the trails are still skiing decent given the limited snow we have, spots have become too thin to re-groom the trails without possible damage to the underlying turf with the snowmobile. Therefore, the below trails will remain open, but ungroomed until we get a bit more snow.

We are posting the blue trail as CLOSED effective tomorrow (Thursday), mainly due to the thin gravelly sections (2 cart path crossings) that are beginning to appear on each of the downhills which connect the flatter setions on the golf fairway (the flatter sections have decent coverage with grass underneath). The Black loop is also posted CLOSED for the same reasons. Both were still skiable today if you are a more experienced skier and know the trails well. The Green, Green-Blue, and Blue-Black trails have a few thin grassy spots, but all cart path crossings have carpet underneath, and will remain open for all skiers until around noon on Friday, when the warmer weather will start to melt out a few more spots.

If you are a novice skier, I'd suggest waiting until we get more snow and can regroom before coming out to ski local. Think snow!
