Our two open trails were regroomed this morning (still no classic tracks). We have too many thin spots with the golf course underneath to pull out our better trail groomer yet without risking damage to the turf, so weren’t able to completely renovate some of the ski tracks (and footprints were people walked on our ski trai) yesterday. It should still ski pretty nice for November on the front range! Best skiing will be before it warms up too much.
Rentals will not be available today (much of our volunteer staff is out of town), but day passes can be purchased at the Club fitness center.
It’s unlikely that we’ll be open this weekend, as we can’t risk the snowmobile or grooming equipment damaging the golf course. Looks like it will be warmer and dry for about 7-9 days, then more chance for snow. Day 5 of local skiing and winter isn’t even here yet!
