Despite not having all our trails groomed/open, and a thinner snow base than we would have liked (plus no classic tracks), we had a busy day with a lot of happy skiers out on the trails. It certainly was a beautiful day to be outside--even as it was slowly melting away our snow base. Thanks to each of you who came out to enjoy our local nonprofit ski trails, and thanks to our volunteer staff who helped make it happen!
Unfortunately, today's sun and temperatures will prevent us from regrooming or reopening Sunday, which is supposed to be even warmer. The rest of February is looking warmer and dryer, but hopefully we'll get a few more bonus, snowy ski days in during the first couple weeks of March--which is typically our snowiest month locally.
